With the arrival of the Dry dock and some more buildings plus ships and impedimenta from Langtons the Dockyard module was now ready for construction.

Firstly, I cut out the base from plastic sheet.

Next I sculpted the contours from insulating foam.

Then I completed the basic shaping and glued up the two parts securing them with Duct Tape..

The following morning I unwrapped the glued up base.

and cut out the detail for the top of the hill.

Then glued and cramped it all together.

Once dry overnight I gave it a coat of PVA to seal the surfaces and harden them overall .

Whilst that was drying Iused the time to paint the accessories.

Now that the Glue is dry, I have undercoated the whole piece and then added grass scatter whilst it was still wet. This will later be varnished over.

Cliff faces are also painted lighter.

Next I started to paint the Dock Yard and detailed some more of the base.

With that completed I began to add the town at the top of the hill.

Here is the Dockyard just about finished and ready to go to the shop for a top coat of varnish.

Lastly I introduced the Dockyard into the harbour module .
Just a bit of refining to make it blend in better at the edges now needed.

Glorious, Paul! Thank you very much. That's exactly the information I was looking for. Now I'll just extrapolate the Roebuck. I'm picturing somewhere

As I'd hoped, if it was of no use someone who does know would pop over the horizon and Paul has done the honours. I agree it was a fun read too, well

Figure no stronger than Undated Speculative BHR as your ceiling. I wanna say we figured she'd be packing small guns but a LOT of them, maybe equivalent

I hope this is readable. There's a bit of glare from the overhead light though. Let me know if there's something you can't make out. I've done photos

That was a fun read, Dave, but the information I am looking for ws obscured by damage on the Bonhomme Richard and Isis is a Portland, so the next size

My BHR is on the other side of the county in Storage, but I'd say a Roebuck should be pretty comparable to that, only about a slight advantage. Serapis

If someone could post stats for the Bonhomme Richard or any of the East Indiamen too, I discovered that I don't have those either.

The cutters are so lively that when they're played by the AI, I have them sail at no more than 7 knots under fighting sail, rather than the 9

A few years back I converted a sloop into a whaler to add variety to my ship collection. While I enjoyed its existence, I never made a scenario for it
