The "fabric" I used for the ratlines I purchsed at Hobby lobby in the fabric department,it's called TULLE and is used for overskirts on formal gowns (according to my Wife) it comes on a bolt like normal fabric.It's 3 ft wide by however long you want. I got a foot of it for 27 cents which will last a lifetime.it resembles window screen.just cut to size needed,the base is a Litko base for WoG,I had some extras,I covered it with paintable caulk smoothed out with a wet finger and then drug my finger carefully across it too simulate the waves.(if you mess up just dip your finger in water and do it again) Hope this helps2786
