To say I went without a fight is not totally true. I was waylaid on my way home after 3 weeks on a fishing ship. Woke up two days later already at sea being lashed to work. The masters of the ship found out I knew how to navigate a few weeks later. The order was to be a barrelman. At least I no longer have to labor in the midship...
