Howdy Folks,

Bob from St. Louis, looks like this is going to be an exciting ride (E ticket).

Thanks Eric.

Once the game is out, we should set up days of playing - we're in Bloomington, only a few hours away.

Tomorrow, we're heading back home to Chicago for a day of Wings of Glory with folks from northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

Sounds good! We play at a shop here in St. Louis "Game Nite" on Watson Road. Any good shops in Bloomington?

We're playing "Commands and Colors" series games next Saturday (16th). We play Battle Cry on 3" hex map with 10mm ACW figs.

We have a nice game shop, but the folks there mostly play fantasy-oriented games - not much in historical gaming. We are developing a community here, though. This could make for some enjoyable road trips. How far are you from the Hill?

@Chris & Eric, thanks, enjoyed visits to Holland and spent a few years in Gemany back in the late 70's early 80's, both lovely places to visit and live.

@Eric, not too far from the hill, a couple of exits further down I-44 and a mile or so south.

Then we're definitely planning a game day.;) To give you a hint, my last name ends in a vowel.

Would that be a vowel very close to the beginning of the alphabet? As in Newark Eric?

@Bob. Holland is a lovely place ... unless you want something weighing 3kg shipping to you from the states. ;)

Chris, I feel for you. Here in the US, ordering from down under is very expensive.

Eric, let me know your interests and we can definitely schedule something. Shame not to, when we're so close.

Most anything. I am always up to learning new games. Back 30 years ago, I played a lot of Avalon Hill and some first edition D&D - even went to Gen-Con in the late 70s or early 80s, don't quite remember any more. For the last 30 years, I have not played much of anything, and am now just getting back into gaming.

Currently, we've been playing Wings of Glory WWI - in fact my wife and I are traveling back home tomorrow to play with some folks we're meeting for the first time via the Aerodrome. As long as there is food and laughter, we're good to go.
