It was with the greatest sadness that I learned only last week of
the passing of my esteemed colleague and friend David Pollard.

As my fellow Admiral, alongside Admiral Eric Teoro we steered the Anchorage through squalls and also some very enjoyable times until
Eric’s retirement in 2018.

David was always there when I needed advice, and on the formation
of the Admiralty Board, he continued in his role as a senior Admiral, joining us at most of the shows in the Midlands and playing his part
in the games. He also put on a game at 2021 Doncaster weekend
which was the last time which we met together.

His loss to the Anchorage is one that I will carry with me as long as
I continue as Admiral.

Rest in Peace David.

Rob.
