On the PBS America channel (HD Freeview channel 91, Freesat 155, Virgin 276, Sky 174, Amazon and My5) tonight (Monday 3rd June) at 9 p.m. a programme will be broadcast entitled 'PQ17: An Arctic Convoy Disaster'. It is presented by Jeremy Clarkson. It is about the convoys of war supplies sent to Russia in W.W.2 through the Arctic Seas despite German bombers, U-Boats and surface vessels. I presume that it will feature on the convoy PQ-17 (known to some people as 'The convoy to hell'), which suffered very severe losses.
The programme will be repeated on PBS America on Tuesday 4th June at 00.20 a.m., 10.20 a.m. and 3 p.m..
