Once again, what excellent models you turnout Julian, I wish I could turn out such models.

As Chris said, I wish I had the skill to produce such marvellous work.

I never cease to marvel at your work Julián.

They even stand up to scrutiny when magnified,
Such attention to detail is to be applauded.

You are welcome Julián.
Well worth it for the enjoyment of seeing your work, never mind the value added to the Anchorage.
Every post like yours adds to the sites interest to others.

Thanks Rob, I'm glad you like my job.
It is true that whenever I post in other forums (TMP) I usually add a link to this forum. That way, many people who do not know Sail of Glory can do it.

Sven, look at the stern galleries. The British often have a typical difference over the windows at the ends.

I don't always remember to give it, but Rob mentioned it, so... it's well earned.

I always marvel at your work, Julian, but one question.

It looks like you have led the mizzen braces to the peak of the spanker yard. Is that really how they did it? I thought they were led forward to the mainmast.

Dobbs, that's the "European" way, but not the British way to do it.

I guess you mean these two ways of rigging. The Spanish ship is rigged according to the French model while the British ship is rigged according to its own model.

Thanks for the clarification, Julian, and thanks for the great illustration! I love learning something new. I can't believe that has slipped by me for so long!
