As always, truly beautiful modelling, Julián!
As always, truly beautiful modelling, Julián!
Thank you Jonas! have a nice weekend!
Not only does your work give us even more inspiration to do more modelling ourselves Julián but it invariably raises a host of questions. For instance, where did you obtain the lighthouse and those superb octagonal harbour wall defences.
Thanks for yet another master class on how to portray a harbour and its defences.
Rob.

The lighthouse is from langton miniatures and the octagonal towers are from BrigadeModels
References are:
Lighthouse M36
Towers http://www.brigademodels.co.uk/SmallScaleScenery/Historical%20Forts%20and%20Military%20Installations/SSS-8082.html
What I did was cut the lighthouse a little so it did not look so tall.

Thanks Julián. That would be why I did not recognize the Lighthouse then.
Can you also please fill me in on the Circular Fort?

Is a Toulon tower. The customer wanted the tower separated from the rest of the dioram. I also added my little Martello tower like a little fort.
The reference is: RB1 from Langton miniatures. The quality of the modeling is exceptional.
I recognized your Martello tower as I have two of them. That solves the mystery.

Julián, this model is astounding! Nicely done. What models do you use for your ship’s boats? Are they purchased or scratch-built? Simply fantastic!
A lot of us use Langton's Nick.
Rob.
Wonderful job , I missed that one.
Are the houses and tiny boats from Langton as well?

Thank you Fox.
All the pieces are from Langton, except for the starry fortress and two towers that are on the dock.
The house at the base of the pier with a tower and the church between the parks are his own buildings that he sells.
I hope this helps

The diagram helps a lot, thank you Juliàn! Does anyone have any reference numbers for the small boats used by Langton? On his site, there are very few reference photos so I have no clear idea what I would be ordering. Thank you, gents, for all your replies and aide. And for the amazing work you all do!
