Noigrim's nice AAR of the Battle of St. Kitts. I've seen Noigrim's Blog previously so thought others here might enjoy it. It was on TMP this morning.

Rob has posted a long historical account on the Anchorage as well.

That certainly is another massive battle Jim.
Makes me wish my games room were a bit longer.
Thanks for bringing another inspirational action to our notice.
Rob.

Noigrim has another gigantic battle AAR posted on his blog. I wont start a separate thread for this, but it's The Saints 1782. Really impressive battle!!

Just when I think it can't get any better you come up with this Jim.
Makes my nine ship action today seem somewhat pedestrian.
Thanks for another great Heads up.
How many players did he need to get that fleet moving?
Rob.

It doesn't say how many players for that giant game on TMP or his blog. With two chairs pulled out from the table I'm going to guess two, but there are other chairs? Hard to say.

He also did Battle of Fort Royal 1781. So, three big battles for April 2018.

I'm just in the middle of doing the biographys of the French Captains at Fort Royal in the History Forum.

And a very thorough post it is. I saw it come up when I did a forum search for Fort Royal.

St Kitts is also up there Jim.
I just wish I could find more Portraits of the French Captains. I wonder if a lot went missing in the French Revolution because some very influential members of the old regime are missing too.

Quite possible? I would imagine that death and destruction during the revolution may well have removed a substantial volume of visual and historical records.
