You are right Dave. It explains all those little details which the writers of naval fiction tend to gloss over, and which I like to use to add a little extra to my AAR's.
The photos are very explanatory in themselves. the thing about one picture being worth a thousand words is very true in this book.

Victory was one of the first ships I worked on when I joined the MOD :happy:
