I just got this game and am getting new ships in. Played it with a friend the other day using the basic rules and I was very impressed. I am really enjoying this game.
My name is Randy. I checked around my local gaming stores and no one is playing at them, so I will be doing this solo with an occasional friend sailing with me in competition.
I am now cruising the forum and looking around. I looked at the prefix and couldn't find Oregon, so I picked National.
What is the solo 2017 campaign and how do you get in on it?
So hello all and looking forward to interacting more.
Randy
Good day shipmate, and welcome to the Anchorage. You will find us a merry bunch of lubbers, well most of the time.
If you have a look here you will find all the info on the two 2017 Solo Campaigns.

The Officer's in charge are Bos'n and Union Jack, so drop them a PM if they don't contact you when they see your post here.
Rob.
Welcome to the anchorage! Once you get the hang of the solo rules post up some after action reports, I'd love to see them.

Thanks, I'll look them over. Going over the standard and advanced rules now, then on to some practice time, then back at you.
:)

I think I need a cool new name here.

Is there a link so I can print out the rules or just use copy and paste from the forum?

:).
I am working on a campaign that I will upload here on the forum. It is title "The War". It will include numerous scenario's that will start a war and escalate to a final battle with many ships. I will play test it first and make sure it works right. It will have solo scenario's in it. In fact, the first two, which are done, are solo now.
Sounds like an interesting prospect Randy.
If you feel like it I think we are still short a scenario for the Solo Campaign.

Yeah, I don't think this will totally be a solo campaign. But I plan on playing it solo and will have some solo scenario's in it. I want to experiment with the solo options others have developed and see if I can incorporate them in mine. Since, I play mostly solo, it benefits me to work on making this happen. Either way, it will have a storyline and be fun. Of course, all scenario's can be played with multiple players.
