Couldn't resist once I received

Here is one of the new Spanish three deckers, the Santa Ana rigged and pennented ready for action at Beachhead in a couple of weeks

The ratlines are Langtons PE01 for his Three deckers, fit with little adjustment

You excel once again dear chap.
Every time I see these fully rigged ships I feel like a second rate modeller.
Great show Chris.

Then you are out of luck, Rob. Sails of Glory haven't released any second rates yet.

I still hope they will make the British second rates.

Great ship, Chris!

I'm even more behind now.

Excellent job! Thanks for sharing your work and the photos of one of my favorite ships from the Age of Sail.

The fact that you didn't have to adjust the Langton ratlines much is further confirmation (at least in my mind) that these sculpts are closer to 1/1200 scale and not 1/1000.

Thanks chaps, appreciate the comments, the pics seemed a lot brighter on my pc begore I posted so not sure why the look darker now.
This Spanish 3 decker is the only Sails 3 decker that I have not needed to use two different sets, normally I need a 2nd rate set and a Clipper set, so I agree with you Jim, these seem to be closer to 1/1200. I will see more when I rig the Spanish 74's

Firstly may I applaud your great joke Jonas.
I agree that Second raters would make may day after the Santisima.
As regards your behind. it looks fine in that splendid uniform, even if as you state you have more. May I suggest it is all that sitting down modelling that causes it.

It is. That and Christmas sweets. Well, I should start biking again as soon as the weather permits...
That was a good riposte. I hope I don't have to respond to that. Bad imagination this late might lead to me just re-post.

Do you have any in depth sources for Spanish ships or Spanish Captains biography's Ferrante as they are difficult to source except for the very famous ones?
