Hi shipmates.
If I can obtain a set of Polo shirts similar to the Drome ones but in dark blue with this logo and the words British Fleet plus your user name if required, would any of you be interested. I assume the price would be about £20.

Possibly. We had some very nice ones made up for the Jutland 100 game at the NMRN in June, 1 made up in various sizes and they worked out at just under a tenner each (£147 for 15) including shipping and the work to set up the logo. The quality of the embroidery was good (although they were all the same, no added names), might be worth shopping around a bit to get a good deal. If you want the details of the place that did the Jutland ones give m a shout.

Cheers Chris and Dave.
I will investigate the Jutland outlet if I may Dave. Were they as good as our Polo shirts in quality and embroidery?

Yes, they were rather nicely done I think. These were the people that did them. They have all sorts of options. And their customer service was great, we bounced a number of designs around, they advised on what would look good, what might not embroider well, that sort of thing. Very professional.

Should be the same as the Wings ones Dave. I am only sounding out the demand as yet, but would like to get them done for Doncaster.

Don't worry yet Simon. The Logo will be done in ten days time Then I will get exact prices, and put out an order form like the last one.
That will make it easier for my supplier if they are all the same format.

Here is the provisional Logo chaps.

I have asked for Darren to curve the British Fleet bit to conform to the Rope more.
The background is not obligatory.
Now is the time to be thinking about your nom de guerre and if you want it added like the Drome ones. It will cost extra.

Bligh,

Can an American get one and how much would shipping be?

Hi Bob.
I was not expecting any interest from the States. I really don't want to tread on Keith's toes, if he is thinking of bringing any out like the Wings ones. I will need to check with him first when he gets back.
If so I will do another run, and find out the postage cost to the States.

Whether or not I can see your images, Rob, depends upom which web-browser I use. I cannot see them using Google Chrome but I can see them if I use Firefox.

Bligh

That may be because I use Firefox Dave.

PM'd

But a quibble - shouldn't it say "sails" in the order form title?

Bligh
07-31-2016, 02:48
Yes Dave it should.
I altered the old Wings form and posted it into a new Folder in my Sails section so I must have put up the old one still in the computer memory instead of cancelling it. I will rectify the problem.
Thanks for pointing it out.

POLO SHIRT ORDERS!

I will be sending in the order for these at the end of the week, so if you have not got in your order you have until Wednesday evening to do so.

As all orders were in by teatime I have now dispatched them to Darren for processing.
Rob.

Bligh

Darren has now sent me this years prices.
There is a slight rise in both shirts and P&P from last year's estimate.
This now brings the total price of each shirt with P&P to me included in the total from the projected £19.75 to
£22.75.each.
With a bit of luck with the GPO. they should be here in time for Partizan next week, otherwise I will bring them to Doncaster with me.
Rob.

Thats a bit of a hike

Although trivial of course in the grand scheme of things.

With luck Chris will be able to bring mine back from Doncaster

Bligh
08-11-2016, 12:50
I was a bit surprised myself Dave. Although to be fair, he has pegged his prices for the last two years.

Sneaky chappie, telling you after you'd put the order in :cheezy:

Is he a defence contractor?

Bligh
08-11-2016, 13:13
He never gives me the amount of postage until I tell him how many shirts we want. To be fair he has held his prices for the last two years. That's why I said based on last year in the blurb.
Rob.

Bligh
08-21-2016, 13:01
Well although the Polo shirts were posted by Darren on Wednesday, they did not arrive in time for Partizan, so I will get the South of England ones to Chris, and dish the others out at Doncaster.
Rob.

Bligh

The Polo shirts arrived at about 10 this morning.
Ensign Patch has kindly agreed to drop off the South West's consignment at Chris's when he comes down in the Start of September. So Mr and Mrs Duff, and Dave Manley are sorted.
I can deliver Captain Wind Blower. Union Jack will collect his at Doncaster, but I do not know about David or Dr Maturin. Can you wait for Doncaster Reg?

I will PM everyone in a day or two with the method of payment.
Mrs Bligh will be able to take my photo in the shirt later today, and I'll post up this evening.
