3D Ship mats

I have made a 3D file of The Ship Mat on www.tinkercad.com. It is not published yet. I fear it is not legal. The idea i got because one of our shipmates have tried to get original ship mats for months with no results. In some libraries they have 3D printers. So if you with ease could get the file, you just go to the library, start printing and read a book (maybe about some naval strategic) while waiting.
The file is far from the original but measurements will fit tokens, cards etc. Yes, you can make some creative ship mats with paper og other materials and if you are desperate even with leaves and stuff from mother earth.
My self will always get the original pieces...if they are available and that seems to be difficult around in EU.

Will i ask Ares?

Please give your opinion.

I am intrigued. What does she look like?

I created customized 2-D mats to use with wet-markers at cons. In so doing, I did not make direct copies of Ares' products, nor did I deny Ares sales as I already purchased the products. I would think that creations along these lines probably remains within the bounds of legality and ethics.

...it is about 3milimeters thick but i made the areas for tokens etc. a little smaller for the purpose of the pieces can stay in their respective areas.

However, it is not easy. I took a free course of 2 hours with skilled people. There is indescribably much to measure and record. then coordinates put right into the program ...:dazed
But when it is finish, everybody can take the file for free and use it where there is a 3D printer:happy:

That British actor playing the policeman is named Arthur Bostrom and he is fluent in real french. He just had to have some Swedish heritage. Boström is a common Swedish name.
