...now i realize. This is where you introduce yourself. Took me about 14 days to get in here (i´ve been stuck in "favorite Tipple").

My name is Morten. I´m 43 y. Live in Kgs. Lyngby, north of Copenhagen.

It has taken me almost three weeks (a lot of google translate), before this site, to read, understand and practice Sail´s of Glory. For this i am grateful. Know i´m familiar with this fantastic game and i do what i can do to get other country men in the squadron. As often my family can do with out me, i´ll play this game.
When i work myself through the basic rules i was entertained. When i started using the standart rules, i knew this be a part of my life. When the advanced rules came in play so many opportunities opened up for strategies an excitement.

I love this game and i really don´t care if Ares don´t develop it further...you sailors in here have already retained it´s future.

Thanks
Morten

It will be the first time that I have welcomed a shipmate who is already a friend of several posts to the Anchorage Morten.
You have already made your mark here, and your very nice remarks about the future of the site brings fresh hope with it.
We can certainly continue with what we already have, and the ingenuity of the members refreshes the prospects of it not becoming stale.
There are still many seas to sail, battles to fight and ships to modify.
Enjoy your cruise.
Bligh.

Welcome aboard, Morten. :salute:

The communities here and on the 'Drome are excellent. Many of us have had the joy of meeting in person. So I agree, if Ares ever stopped producing, we few, we happy few, we band of brothers will keep the games going.

Another Dane is coming on board.
Had my 2 first games with Tordenskjold to day. And it was lots of fun.

The standing after 2 first rounds. 1-1

Looking forward to the next game Tordenskjold.

Welcome on board. What a great game yesterday. As always in the heat of battle, I forgot to take some pictures. It was a pleasure to play with you and surprisingly heavy resistance:cannonboom::cannon:
