Just a reminder that the Hereward Wargames Show is happening on the 1st Nov in Peterborough at the Cresset (not far off the A1/A47 junction): we’ve got a decent collection of traders, and a number of fun games (including another chance at our own Dambusters game) as well as a chance to run into most if not all the Meeples and Miniatures team! Moreover, the first 200 through the door/advance get a free Gripping Beast Hereward The Wake figure from our lovely sponsors.
It is not, though, too late (is it ever?) to book in a game or a stand, if you’re quick. We’re a relatively short trip from London or Mecca (sorry, I mean Nottingham!)
http://www.hereward-wargames.co.uk/ for trader, game or advance ticket bookings.
Look forward to seeing folks there!

A nice location and about 7 miles from said junction, for some of our intrepid members to possibly put on a SoG game or three?

Unfortunately it looks a bit too far for me this year, hopefully we will get something arranged for next.
Fraid, I'm up the Swanee as far as this one is concerned too Mike.
Mrs Bligh and I have a prior engagement on that weekend.

Neither can I make it this yer I'm afraid. Another cruise south and I'll be divorced if I don't get me jobs done.....

We should have a date for next year pretty soon - it's likely to be late Sept or mid October, I think.

We could never countenance that Neil.

Speaking as one of the organisers, I think it went well - we've had a lot of favourable comment and promises to return next year (by both traders and the public) :D
The date (for your diaries) will be Sunday September 4th - watch this space for booking etc details when we open things up.
I will keep an eye out for it then Mike.

Glad it's not another Doncaster clash. Unfortunately for me that is Border Reiver weekend so I won't make it I'm afraid.
