On the internet I came across this website devoted to this recently built sailing ship. I wondered whether our U.S. members were aware of it.

I was not aware of this ship, but I will guess Coog knows about it?

I was aware of the SV OHP. Built as a sail training vessel more than a replica, but having said that the design certainly gives a nod to 1812 era designs and that is cool. The fact that a vessel like this was built is a good thing!

A fine bit of video. Just upset that we only saw a bit of sail handling. It is one area where I still need to put a picture to the action.
