Greetings!
I finally took the plunge and got the Constitution yesterday. I wanted to repaint it and looked online for guidance only to find the white masts (as per the model) were only apparently used in the very early 1812 war, then from about 1817 onwards!!
Could anyone enlighten me what the colours (sorry, colors!) of the masts, spars and fighting tops were on 'Old Ironsides' in the 1812 war?
