View Full Version : My British Fleet
My feet of finished ships are steadily growing. These are the British ones.

There are three lines of ships of the line each headed by first-rate, all flanked by frigates.

Quite stunning, Jonas!
The only problem I see with it, is it's British!! :takecover: :swordleft:
Thank you! :hatsoff:
I'll have to make more pennants before I can show my French fleet... but it's trying to keep up and is actually bigger in bought ships.
Impressive fleet! I hope the city in back is allied.
Nice one Jonas,
It shows that with some work they can be made to look good. I wish the bases did not good so gameish
Be safe
Rory
Nicely done with rigging and flags to boot.
Bob. :salute::medal::thumbsup:

Jonas are the flags and pennents home made ?
Thank you all!
Chris: Yes, I print them, glue them with white glue, and then make a few touch ups with paint.

And are they in the files ?
I am in the process of rigging my fleets but am low on flags and pennents for the masts
No shortage of Frigates there then Jonas.
Nelson would be envious.
Bligh.
Chris,
e-mail me devsdoc at hotmail dot com I have most flags at 1-1200 scale. I think they would work on SOG ships

A formidable display there, Jonas!
Thank you!
l have most of my flags in an unnecessarily high resolution and print them in a size that I think look good. They aren't in perfect scale, but I think they look good enough.
Rob; For some reason it's been more fun painting and rigging them after a few of the same ship of the line. But now it's mostly third rates waiting to be painted.
Richard; Not really rules... They more of win some, loose some.

That's a big collection. :hatsoff:
Looks like a traffic jam on interstate 5. I love the flags and standing rigging, the beaches and town behind the flotilla, too. Great work!
Sven: Finally there's a decent amount that's painted and rigged. Just you wait. I'll have a French fleet at least as big eventually.
Kenneth: It was kind of crowded to get them into the picture. Thank you.
That is a lovely looking fleet, Jonas.

You just wait until Ares releases the Spanish Meregildos.
I need more Spanish Jim. Where is my Santisima?
Bligh.

Bligh.
I'd like to know where the Santisima is as well? Perhaps some pressure on Ares to let us know if/when this might materialize. For now I have my custom kitbash, but without stats, etc. it's not officially part of SoG.

I join the request!
I'll get a few Meregildos but probably more of the third raters...
I just hope to catch up before they're released.
I envy, impressive fleat
I envy, impressive fleat
Don't be too impressed Kamil.:embarass:
Remember that I have been assembling those ships for two years now, and a lot are presents for Birthdays and Christmases.
Rob.
Well...
I started by joining the Kickstarter too, but most of my ships were bought during the last year and a half. I'm more impressed by me actually painting that many ships.
I'm guessing Rob mistook threads, but I know what you mean...

Exactly that Jonas. Sorry for taking your wind shipmate. Now i'm all aback and my mizzens gone by the board.:embarass:
Rob.:hatsoff:
No worries, Rob.
With my hand out of the cast I should be able to start working on my French soon.
Although the physical therapist said it wouldn't be back to normal before summer...

Ah, the British term 'Physiotherapist' sounds far more swish! :fixit:
