This will be a great experience. I am not too familiar with sailing against the wind other than for a turn or two. I think I will learn something here.
If players are sailing for the French, do you see any issue in swapping nationalities?

French use French frigates, The Crimson Pirate has a captured French 74 that's all. But as always players are free to use whatever ships they have available. Some might not have 3 74's. I'll have a look at the various types and come up with a chart that closely mirrors the merchant factors so it broadens the scope of ships that can be swapped.

Thanks, Neil. That would be quite helpful.

I need a magnifying glass for reading. But seemed to be a very interesting scenario.
He is a very naughty boy Matthias. I had to copy and magnify it to get any idea of where he buried the treasure.
Even then I could not find the cross.
Bligh.

I played this out yesterday and am about to post the AAR. In retrospect we'll see if I got it right?
Just the ticket Neil. Done in the nick of time. I have the tide and a fair wind tomorrow.
Rob.
Just filled in the sheets for tomorrows action.
These are going to save a lot of time and scratching about for chits.
The filling in of the data takes seconds and they are so clear to read.
Well done Eric and Susan.
Rob.
