...causing a little consternation in the post room as the parcel didn't have my name on it, and more here when I peeked inside to discover all the standalone ships are packed in tissue paper with the cards separate. I foresee an evening with the Ares catalogue and an impromptu ship recognition class....

And Victory's on the way, 'cause I couldn't resist.

Next up, a nice chat with KR Multicases.

What did you receive, Mike?

I found the ship cards with the side view to be helpful for identification.

I haven't had chance to do much more than check none of the ships are broken (yay), due to a band rehearsal last night (and a pleasant evening lined up for tonight watching my son play cricket), but I appear to have all the Spanish ships, and a decent mix of SoL and smaller as well as the Swan (aww, cute!)

9*, a run out and a rather impressive 4-0-14-3 opening the bowling :D So thank you :D

I am interpreting that as things went well, therefore, congratulations.

One day, I would like to watch a cricket match with someone who is knowledgeable about the game, and patient enough to explain and answer questions. It looks like an enjoyable way to spend a day.

Should you ever make it over to England in the summer, we'll have to arrange that. And you're right, it is by far and away the best way of understanding the game. (Pretty much how I'm now a Twins fan with an MLB.tv subscription and can explain the infield fly rule on a good day :D)

Thank you, Mike. We will take you up on that. We had planned on visiting the UK the past year or so, as well as the Continent. My dissertation, among other things, prevented the trip. Hopefully, 2016 and 2017 will witness us flying over the pond.

You did mean to say White Sox, correct?

...and now, in a rather handy box (those compartments are just a hair larger than 75mm cubes) from Hobbycraft, with card/log boxes courtesy of ChryonDave's excellent work:
