Okay be nice to me this is the first time I’ve done this and will try to do better the next time I write one of these. Also sorry about the picture quality my phone decided it didn’t want to be cooperative this time around.

Forces Involved:
HMS Concorde commanded by Commander Calan Reid
HMS Cleopatra commanded by Lieutenant Laurence Davidson
Buque de Plata commanded by Incul Tello Armendáriz (represented by Le Berwick)

Captain Armendáriz spots the intercepting British ships in the distance.

10627

Turn 1
Seeing Buque de Plata, Concorde and Cleopatra both turn toward her to try and force her surrender.

10628

Turn 2
Captain Armendáriz sets the course of the day by firing the opening shot against HMS Concorde as the British ships close the distance.

10629

Turn 3
HMS Cleopatra fires a full broadside against Buque de Plata just missing a front raking shot. Captain Reid orders Concorde to hold fire waiting for a better shot.

10630

Turn 4
Cleopatra turns inside Buque de Plata allowing her to fire her other broadside against Buque de Plata. Buque de Plata fires a broadside of her own against HMS Cleopatra. Both ships trade Musket fire.

10631

Turn 5
HMS Concorde fires a rear broadside against Buque de Plata

10632

Turn 6
Buque de Plata turns into HMS Cleopatra and fires a front broadside on Cleopatra and a full broadside against HMS Concorde. Concorde and Buque de Plata also trade musket fire. (Rolled for Lieutenant Davidson (5), and Captain Armendáriz (4) wounded skip 1 scenario).

10633

Turn 7
All ships are reloading and maneuvering. (I forgot to take the Pic)

Turn 8
Buque de Plata fires a front broadside on Concorde. Cleopatra fires a long range full broadside at Buque de Plata. Concorde holds her fire.

10634

Turn 9
Concorde fires a full broadside against Buque de Plata and both ships trade Musket fire.

10635

Turn 10

10636

Turn 11

10637

Turn 12
Buque de Plata fires a full broadside on Concord

10638

Turn 13
Cleopatra closes on Buque de Plata and let’s go with a forward broadside. Concord sets up for a better position.

10639

Turn 14
Concord rams Buque de Plata while firing her forward guns. Buque de Plata returns a full broadside against Concord. Both ships trade musket fire.

10640

Turn 15
Buque de Plata tries to move off but Concord stays tangled up with her. Cleopatra moves up along side Concord. Concord decides to only fire muskets at Buque de Plata. With all of her crew wounded or dead Buque de Plata strikes her colors and Surrenders.

Congrats on your success. :salute: I'll bet you were a bit worried about the Cleopatra's crew though? You couldn't have cut it any closer than this.

Your photos were fine. Either by your narrative or the visuals I could readily tell which ships were which. Thanks much for sharing your AAR!

Thank you for the kind words. Yes I was really worried about the Cleopatra's crew. Since I was using my youngest officer on the Cleopatra I thought it fitting that after he regrouped he charged right back in trying to make a name for himself.

That's the same way I played my Lt.

Nice first AAR, Rob.

To hold back fire to get the more heavier B-damage was a good decision.

Very well orchestrated attack upon a superior ship Rob.
Your maneuverability paid handsome dividends. those extra forard and aft broadsides certainly tipped the balance in your favour.
I enjoyed the action very much.
Bligh.
