If you've made it this far thank you for indulging me in my first solo scenario AAR. If I've made any mistakes in rules or scenario interpretation it was not done consciously so. I trust you will be kind in your criticisms if I somehow made major errors. It was great fun playing this and could easily have gone any number of directions. I will say that the mat edge seems detrimental to AI play and shifting of ships might be something worth considering. I probably have other thoughts to share as well, but I've been at this for several hours now and need a break. Thanks Fred and Eric for others who have contributed to the solo rules development. This was great fun!!

Captain Angus Remmington / Juno / Captured the Buque de Plata / Returns to port ready for next adventure / No major crew damage
Commander Brian Coineagan / La Concorde / Returns to port ready for next adventure / No major crew damage
Captain Salvadore Narez / Buque de Plata / Severely injured, skips 2-4 scenarios / Crew devastated

Fantastic AAR, Jim.

Lucky fight versus the Spanish 3rd rate.

Very nice AAR, was a great read this morning. You are setting a high bar for the rest of us.

I already enjoy being part of this campaign by just being able to read the AARs.

Well done, Sir Jim. :salute:

That was an excellent AAR - very clear, easy to follow, great photos - a superb job relaying your first victory. Great opening - set the mood for the read - very cool. :hatsoff:

When I played OTT, I don't think I played a single scenario without mistake. It was such a wonderful way to learn. Playing solo, you have a lot to keep up on because you are also thinking about AAR needs while controlling multiple ships and two sides.

I will update the roster with the following:
Captain Angus Remmington: RTP, awarded 1 ability point
Commander Brian Coineagan: RTP
Captain Salvadore Narez: will be added to your AI roster; if you haven't rolled yet, consider him out for two scenarios, and he is trade for when one of your captains is captured

Thank you all for the compliments. It really was a fun scenario Fred put together. I can't wait to see what he comes up with in the next series (if he's willing to do one)?
