Hello sailors!

I'm new to SoG, and I came to it after discovering Wings of Glory last year (you can also check my profile in the Drome). So I just got my wave one minis and a few accessories and I am itching to start chasing treasure fleets around the globe!

As always, I am a bit afraid this game will have to be played solo most of the times. My board game group (reunited so rarely now that I hardly dare call it a group at all) wasn't attracted to WoG at the time so I gather no hope for this one either. SWMBO hasn't the necessary love for this sort of things and my daughter first needs to learn how to seat before she can board!

No, never! Any Dutch sail fans wave your hand and we might actually meet and exchange a proper cannonade! :drinks:

And how I came to like ships? I just love anything that rhymes with -nautical, like... ehm... butterfly?

:Arrrr:

Perfect timing - we're just starting a solo campaign. Feel free to join us.

Hello Alfonso. Welcome to the Anchorage! I think you will find the solo game is great fun and the AI has been known to do quite well against human players. :hatsoff:

Hello Alfonso,

My brother did not like wings of war too but do like sails of glory.
So give your boardgame group a chance! :singin:
