Ahoy you SOGs! I must admit that, initially, I was not interested in the game. But, after perusing the ARES site and their description, plus, reading about SoG from other players, I thought what the heck, I'll jump in with both feet! So now I'm ready to defend the New Republic from the British impressment of our merchantmen. Plus we have this thing called The Monroe Doctrine coming in a few years. But why wait? Might as well start enforcing it now!

Now I'm off for some grog and 'Yankee built' Frigates! When I get a ship, you all are welcome aboard any time for grog and grub!
