Hi guys!

I wish to post an MS Word.doc attachment but can only see the facility for pics and videos. I have done a sheet of British, French and Spanish Flags and Pennants so that ships may be reflagged when captured. There are Red White and Blue Squadron Flags for the British and French, but I am not sure how the Spanish differentiated Squadrons so just the Nationa Flag.

If someone can point me in the right direction I will post the page. I will also see if I can turn the page into a pic of some sort.

Let me know guys.

Cheers

Brad

Well, converting the file to a .jpeg was simple. Hopefully it gets up. 9770

Anyway folks, here it is, I think. Print it out on sticky back paper, cut out the Flags and stick 'em on.

Cheers

Well done!, Brad!

Could you perahps make flags (for future releases or repaints) for USA, Turkey, Russia...?

Thanks for posting this Brad. Click on Files up in the top menu and upload it to the Files section so it's easier for people to find in the future (this thread will fall to the bottom as more are added) and so that they can download them in the highest resolution.

Very nice! If I used the flag masts on the ships this would be excellent, but those are usually the first thing I remove when I do any custom work.

Brad, can you make the flags double sided like you did the pennants?

Aaargh me hearties!!!

Many thanks for the compliments guys. Great minds think alike it seems. My next task was a second sheet of Russian, Dutch and US, all for the standard flag mount. However, there will be double sided ones shortly for those who remove the plastic mast and flag.

Tried uploading the file. I found the page and inserted the file address, filled in the name of the file and my name, then pressed Add File and all that happened was that the file address disappeared. I'll keep working on it.

Cheers

Loading the file does not seem to have worked. I find these things a tad challenging sometimes.

So I have forwarded the sheet to Keith in the hope he may be able to do it for me.

I will get on with the other sheets. However, does anyone have details on how the Russians distinguished their Squadrons?

Cheers

About all I can remember Reading on the Ottoman Navy is the standard red flag with the crescent moon and star and an all red pennant.

I hope one of the members can add more detailed information.

I remember having this in my albums before the great site hack.

I thought it was very interesting. It's from 1864.

Did the file get up? I looked for it but couldn't see it. Mind you, that could easily just be me not looking in the right places. Old age and war wounds! They're my excuses and I'm sticking to 'em!

There is an issue with the Files system. It errors out when trying to upload a file. I'm looking into it, but it's outside my coding skills, so I have to wait to see if I can get help from the developer
