That looks like fun. I'm such a sucker for Kickstarter ship games... I backed Scalawag!, and SailPower v2.0 in addition to Sails of Glory. Received both games and haven't played either yet (Sails however, that's been played:happy:)

I'm not sure what it is, but I am drawn to KS games as well, Tom. I just backed one Thursday evening - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/coe/tiny-epic-kingdoms?ref=discovery

It's a micro game that has grabbed a bit of attention.

It's a very seductive packaging. The idea that you are helping create something that *wouldn't have happened otherwise* gives an extra feeling of control. The idea of being a "backer" puts one into the club of special people. If you saw the same game on the shelf at a store, your reaction would be totally different. Clever clever kickstarter...
