Some shots of my first couple of repaints ... still need to rig HMS Terpsichore and the Unite's foremast stays are "droopier" than desired.

I think that I'm going to need a bigger ocean!

Bill, your repaints look great and the rigging is super. Very nice job on adding the bowsprit yard too!! The ratlines really finish off the look! Well done!! And yes, you're going to need a much larger 'ocean' especially when the 1st rates land. :salute:

Nice work Bill. How did you make the modifications to the bowsprit and get them to adhere?

Wonderful work. One of these days I have to look into rigging and ratlines too... it just looks too good.

Very nice!

I'm drifting closer to attempting to do this myself, and so seeing threads like are very inspiring!

Definitely an inspiration for those of us still on the fence about painting our ships.

Nice work Bill. How did you make the modifications to the bowsprit and get them to adhere?

I just used some brass wire (I'll see if I can come up with the size). Cut the length and glued with Crazy Glue.

I also used a pin drill to drill holes in the bulwarks and fighting tops for the stays.
