View Full Version : C Damage Counter that has cloud on it?
What does the C damage token that looks like a cloud do? I can't find it referenced in the rules...
Thanks!

Perhaps you mean the 3 blank C and D tokens. If so, they are just blank, for creative use.

Think there is no use; looks better than nothing on the counter...
Thanks for posting picture, Richard! After reading your first post, I found out there are 3 blank reds and 3 blank purples. And like Ulrich said, they have no direct use. But, they could be used for spare parts, if you loose any of red/purple counters. Or could be used to mark anything you need.
It's a pitty that ARES did'n put spare blank counters for every damage...

The blanks are an artifact of how the chit-counts are configured vs. how many chits can be fitted onto a sheet of cardboard. With the necessary "gap" between the different chit types, they could only fit 17 chits across (a row of 10, and a row of 7) and 9 down. That gives 90 chits for the A and B draws, and 63 for the C and D. However, since they only wanted 60 draws for C and D (nice round number), that left 3 blanks for C and D; while A and B didn't leave any.
I saw that... But, with some different designing, they probably could create some extra space. Of course, now is over. At least extra damage sets are available!
I certainly can see use for blank counters. Thanks for answering my question everybody!
