Awesome novel about the birth of the United States Navy, beginning with the construction of the six Humphrey's "super frigates", then the Quasi-War with France, into the War against The Barbary States, finally culminating with the War of 1812. A MUST read for anyone interested in naval warfare in the Nappy Era!:thumbsup:
