Perhaps I missed an update, or maybe it's only my set, but two of my French Ships...
1.) SGNKS01 - La Concorde 1777 / Junon 1778
2.) SGN102B - Commerce De Bordeaux 1785 / Duguay-Trouin 1788
Are flying a :surrender: instead of their national flag like all my other ships.
Was this on purpose, or did the painters/sticker application specialists miss a batch?
Before the revolution the French Navy used a plain white ensign. It's not a mistake, it's by design. I prefer the tricolore on the ships, but the flags are historically accurate.

So in those days a white flag was not a sign of 'truce' or 'surrender'. Surrender could be shown by 'striking your colours' but what did they use for 'truce'?

@ Chris' (both) - On a more serious note, thanks for the education. I seem to vaguely recall it now, but it's from some time ago - back in the late 70's. :thanks:
