Basically: Take an obsolescent SoL; reduce the number of guns; lop off a deck or so; relaunch as an oversized frigate.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Sue started working on a Langton USS Constitution this week. I look forward to seeing how she'll do; much better than I would, fore sure.

I guess my post could be misleading, I know what a razee is, I had not heard of a 74 being used as one. Usually it is done with 64s not 74s which were generally not obsolescent for most of our time period. As I noted in a previous post, the most famous one is HMS Indefatigable, which was a 64.
