Just an FYI, when I start seeing a cluster of us SoGgies :p in a given area, I'll break it out as a separate geographical entry rather than just list usernames, for example if a huge crowd shows up from Los Angeles I'll remove them from the general California pool and add a second line to CA for them. Also, if you guys have any advice about geographic breakdowns and distance radii to call "close enough to a given metro area", I'd appreciate it. :)

Ed et al, I'm trying to keep to updates once or twice a day when online--when you see your entry in this post, feel free to delete your reply unless there's something important I missed. :) (I'm not sure on regions in other countries like US states or Canadian provinces, other than that I know in Germany the former DDR is frequently referred to as the 'Neuen Funf Lander'...)

Use to be close to NYC. Now I am closer to Philly. I have never heard of NJCON.

Diamondback: If you want to list a more localized location for me, it will be Southern New Jersey. NJ isn't really know for its urban centers.

Cool Breeze

@ Terry from Boise - What FLGS do you frequent? My oldest daughter is in her last semester at Boise State, and will be very busy finalizing her degree, but might take a break occasionally at All About Games. Also, if you want to visit a small boardgame convention in April over here in the eastern part of our state, pm me and I'll send you the details.

@Cool Breeze - We meet at All About Games on Thursdays. If your daughter wants to try a game, we are always open to new players. Haven't been to a con in years. Didn't know there is one in Idaho. Where can I find out more?

KeithS

York, UK Well inland but the Ouse (river that runs through York) is tidal (slightly) and is a tributary of the Humber.

NJCON is in Edison - so North Jersey. www.njcon.org

Although some of the guys who run it are from Delaware County PA and run a Saturday games day in Essington and Springfield. Not far from the Phila airport. If you are interested I could get you on the mailing list.

Going to be playing SoG in the shop at all - I'd come up from Enfield if you did :) or even for Wings of Glory :)

The plan is to do both on Sundays if I can. Search Marquee Models and keep an eye on their site but I will also aim to post game dates on this forum too.
