HMS Royal William-Awesome RC Sailing Ship

I should be working on my miniatures, but I've been enjoyably distracted by RC sailing ship videos on YouTube. The Royal William was built by a gentleman from Vancouver who recently had it sold at auction for $16,000. He no longer builds ships as age has limited his ability to do so (the back story on these RC builders is often as interesting as their creations).

Perhaps the most impressive of all his constructions is a 13 foot long HMS Victory. Built more than 19 years ago. It was sold to some company or person in Japan. Couldn't find any videos, but these pictures are awesome and a great lead up to Trafalgar Day in just under one week.

You can also buy it in stages with only a slight increase in cost.
That reduces the "Individual VISA bill impact effect"

I can't imagine the final cost to Europe after shipping and taxes.

Looks like the they are about $1500 less for the whole kit. Interestingly they will assemble part or all of the ship for you, however you must inquire for the price. :shock: If you must ask you can't afford it! :moneygone:


Beautiful RC ship models - but as I have sailed on the real thing myself, I would spend the money on something like this:

If you have 49 days and 5300 euro to spare you can sail around Cape Horn!

Actually many ships offer sail training in exchange for just your hard work! :fixit:
