Ahoy! Permission to acquire an avatar. How does one post an image and is there a procedure for approval? Here's some ideas, in order of preference:

David, it should work the same here as it does on the Aerodrome.

Ah Clippers for Clipper eh? Very nice! I just photoshopped an eye patch onto my smiley face guy....

Love the eye patch! Did you spriken ze pirate on Pirate day last week? My class loved the fake parrot on my shoulder (Monty Python Style! - or was it Dr. Who?) Clippers have always fascinated me, I have 36" pine one my great grandfather made for my dad from orange crates, very cool! Then there was a 10 year affair with the Boeing Clippers . . .

In fact, I did! As it happens, I had some minor dental work done that morning and the left side of my face was numb for most of the day. So I sounded much like a pirate who had broken into the rum stores!
