Had my first official taste of SoG. Thanks to the Royal Hajj and CappyTom for their expert guidance. The quick rules are a good start, but I am eager to try my hand at the advanced rules.

The wife and I went to the Messina Hof winery in Texas for a tour years ago. The parking lot was full of DeLoreans. It turned out the DeLorean club of Houston was having their meeting there that day.

Origins 2013 was a great time to "test drive" pre-publication ships, but now the real thing is available. So this year, I am looking forward to more events and new scenarios (large fleet actions anyone?). I can't wait for Origins 2014!

A large fleet action sounds fun, I think we'll have to set one up!

We will be running seven SoG games: three 8-player beginner games using a very basic set of rules to introduce the game to non-players; two 16-player intermediate games, roughly using standard rules; two 16-player advanced games using advanced and optional rules. Hopefully, this will provide something for everyone.
