Having lurked for a little while I thought I ought to dip my toe in the proverbially water and join. I have the card version of Wing of War (WGF) and for me the great appeal is the variety of scenarios on offer. As such, for Sails of Glory in the future I hope to see more variety in the ships; sloops and such will be lovely but specifically I'd love to see some more customised ships - specifically rocket (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Erebus_(1807)) and bomb (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Discovery_(1789)) vessels. Maybe such additions would be good for solo games. But I am getting ahead of myself, for now, hello all!

Hello, that's some energy you've got there. You like WoG. Did you come over from the Aerodrome?

I, too, hope to see a lot of development for this game, in time. Glad to see you, Fabiroux, so vocal and active so quickly.

Welcome to the Anchorage, Stephen. 'Lobsters' was how the seamen referred to the Marines because they wore red uniforms.

Welcome Stephen, bomb vessels and the like would e great but I think they will come from othert sources than Ares at least in the short term.

I must admit being also partial to bomb ketches (although I can't imagine what you'd be doing with them, other than protecting them). Fire ships, now those I could see.

And welcome!

I'm afraid I never made it to the Aerodrome.

It'd be great if we could recreate a scenario along the lines of the Battle of Copenhagen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Copenhagen), though I suspect it'd be on a somewhat smaller scale given the number of ships involved. Plus I don't think we'll see the Danish-Norwegian fleet until Wave 3 of ships
