Roger from Montgomery Al reporting. Except for "the ancient art of war at sea" pc game, I have never played any ship to ship game. And starfleet lawyers does not count.

"Starfleet Lawyers"? Is that a reference to the complexity of SF Battles? Cute expression if so.

Ahoy and welcome!

Yes Star Fleet lawyers was a term about Star Fleet Battles , my group came up with just before the Captains Edition a 3 ring binder/Notebook size game . For those who never played it, the early years, due to the complexity, the errata and corrections were numerious, and Numbering Scheme ugly.

Great to have you here Roger, Age of Sail is exactly the same as space battles, except it's not in space, the playing surface is pretty much 2D, the wind plays a major part (solar winds?), there are no missiles but possibly rockets, gravity tends to work more effectively and the oxygen is better

Welcome from Pensacola FL! Nice phrase for SFB, preaching to the choir it seems.
