I am the same way. I have lots of GHQ models. I can build them quick but my painting really sucks. So if the ships look anything like the planes in WOG I will be super excited.

1812 should be a big deal here in MD. I hear will be many ships in the harbor for the event.

An 1812 starter set would have been an ideal "launch package" for SGN, but alas the idea came to Ares to late in the day. I think it would have gone down a storm on both sides of the Atlantic.

There was a show on the History Channel last night about the War of 1812. Dealt mostly with land battlesHardly anything on the naval side of things but it was a good program (2 hours).
