Trivia: HMS _Defence_ is the only RN SoL to have been present for all three of Nelson's "big name" battles; it did not take an active part in Copenhagen, being left with Parker.
It is interesting whilst reading the biographies of these Captains how many of them actually served at some period of time on one of the Ares ships, or had an encounter with one.
