Great! Thanks for the input!
As I'm still waiting for my first game, I thought I'd ask the assembled crew:
How many ships, realistically, can one player manage during a game? As a ballpark kind of number...
Thanks!...
Well... this is where it gets a little weird. Sure, I'm bummed that I don't have the product yet. But I don't think Ares did anything to me. Making it right for the next time, whether or not I was...
I like this idea as well.
And I appreciate that. Neither is it mine. In the year-plus I have interacted with you, nothing you have said or done would make me believe that was your intent... but I appreciate the explanation...
I'm more than willing to agree to disagree. :salute:
Now that sounds like an exercise in frustration!
I don't have any idea... I'm not at all certain that they can, or would if they could. My response to HMS Lydia was that I didn't consider an "apology" to be "taking responsibility." I would be the...
I agree that Update #58 sounds as though it's an apology. I disagree that Ares' apology is an example of them taking responsibility for their actions.
I am willing to accept that the demands of supplying their customers was beyond the capabilities of Ares to deliver. Their bad.
I'm not happy about it, but there's little I can do about it. I...
Thanks, Keith, for the advice. I suppose it's like being caught in a traffic jam... its sucks that you're there at all, but if you're in the lane that's moving the fastest, you don't feel so bad. ...
I get it... "Don't worry, be happy." I'm a little south of that, I think.
While I don't fault your logic, reality tells me otherwise... at least in my case. I pledged EB Captain, and have yet to receive any product... or word of any such product. Should I be patient, or...
Well... grumble. Didn't get an email today, leading me to understand that my KS is not yet shipping. Seems there's actually very little early about my EB Captain. :envy:
I am curious about something... what is the advantage for someone in the US to jump up to Commodore level? Sure, you get another map, and another wind gauge-thing... but I've already got free...
I've played Naval Thunder: Clash of Dreadnoughts and enjoyed the balance between detail & ease of play. Rules handle nicely single-ship, squadron, and (small) fleet encounters during and immediately...
I'm torn... whereas I have a ton of respect for the workhorses of the fleet (3rd Rates, especially British 74's, the heart of the best navy in the world during the time in question), I love the idea...
Permission to come aboard?
Good morning all, from Connecticut, USA! Looking forward to the launch of SoG... and, I hear, a Kickstarter project starting in March...
